Rockbridge Academy has several clubs for students to participate in. These clubs are designed to augment the academic program.

Chess Club:
Students in grades 7 and up hone their skills of logic and reasoning as they compete in a double elimination competition. Finalists in each grade receive an award at the end of the year.

Black Tie Club:
Students in the Black Tie Club take advantage of the numerous cultural opportunities in the Annapolis/Baltimore/Washington, D.C. area. Throughout the school year, usually in the evenings, students may attend performances at the Folger Shakespeare Theater in Washington, D.C., operas at the Kennedy Center in D.C. or the Lyric Opera House in Baltimore, or art exhibitions at any of the numerous art museums in the area.
