We're very proud of our alumni. We could use this space to wax eloquent about the colleges they've attended, the careers they've begun, the internships they've received, and the beautiful families they've begun.
But we'll get to that in a moment!
The most impressive thing about our alums is that they come back. On college breaks and over holidays, at school picnics and musical performances, our alumni are an ever present part of the Rockbridge community. Why do they return? Well, as one graduate put it, "We love our teachers, and we know they love us." The love that exists between the teachers and students at Rockbridge Academy is a powerful force, and one that keeps our graduates returning year after year.
So who are our graduates? They've attended such colleges and universities as: American University, Brandeis University, Boston College, Catholic University, George Washington University, Georgia Tech, Hillsdale, Indiana University, University of Maryland, United States Naval Academy, United States Air Force Academy, University of Virginia, and Virginia Tech, among many others.
In addition, they've pursued internships with the Heritage Foundation in Washington, D.C., GeoSyntec Consultants, The Charleston Symphony; they've studied abroad in such places as Prague, Milan, Cambridge, and Costa Rica; They've undertaken missions trips to Sweden and Ecuador; and they've settled into careers at such places as Boeing, Lockheed Martin, the National Security Agency, and even teaching at Rockbridge Academy.
But all of these achievements would be counted as nothing if our graduates did not continue walking in the faith that has been entrusted to them.
And for that, we are very grateful.
