Rockbridge Academy Community Symposium 2020

Each year, Rockbridge Academy invites a guest lecturer to speak to our parents (and the community) on topics relevant to educating the heart and the mind. This year we are pleased to work together with the Eliot Society to bring Andrew Lazo to our community.

Read a recently published article in The Classical Difference by Liz Horst, Rockbridge Suzuki teacher and co-founder of the Eliot Society.

Join us on Thursday, January 30th. Doors open at 7:00 PM.

Andrew Lazo is an internationally-known speaker and writer specializing on C.S. Lewis and the Inklings. Mr. Lazo earned his masters in Modern British Literature from Rice University where he was a Jacob K. Javits fellow in the humanities.

Our Community Symposiums are FREE and open to the public, but RSVPs are appreciated. Click here.

Mr. Lazo will be speaking to our 11th and 12th grade students about Til We Have Faces. He will also spend time with our faculty and staff enhancing teacher development. We are pleased to present Andrew Lazo together with the Eliot Society, and we hope you will join us!
