"Unless the Lord builds the house,
They labor in vain who build it;
Unless the Lord guards the city,
The watchman keeps awake in vain."
Psalm 127:1

We need many tools for daily life and we glorify our Lord when we use them properly. Artists and composers have often been inspired by the items around them, from the simplest tools required for everyday living to those special inventions for life’s great endeavors. This summer we will play selections spanning many different genres of music inspired by anything from eating utensils to war weapons; useful items like clocks, metronomes or plows, to the digital world of cell phones, GPS’s, and video games.

The camp consists of two separate orchestras divided by playing level, plus a cello ensemble for all levels.  Each group will perform both individually and together at the final concert. The repertoire will challenge and stimulate every student according to his skill level, while providing a fun and enriching summer experience. All music will be mailed two weeks before camp begins, and students are strongly encouraged to practice the music ahead of time to maximize their enjoyment.

No auditions necessary; the minimum entry level required is Suzuki Book 2 or comparable.
This camp is not intended for true beginners.
