Rockbridge Academy Athletics Contract
Interscholastic Sports Participation Core Principles:
The goal of Rockbridge Academy Interscholastic Sports is to fulfill 1 Corinthians 10:31, to enhance character development, to challenge and grow students in leadership, physical skills, teamwork, and maturity, and to build school community. Our student athletes, coaches, administrators, and parents must partner together in order to maximize the benefits that athletics bring to Rockbridge Academy.
Required Athletic Forms
To participate in a Rockbridge Academy sport, please fill out the Athletics Contract and Transportation Form.
In addition, all athletes must have a current physical on file (completed within the last 12 months) in order to play a sport at Rockbridge Academy. Please download our Health History and Physical Examination Forms and have your doctor complete and sign them at your child's next physical.
The athletic fee for Rockbridge students of $250 per athlete, per sport, will be charged to your FACTS account once practices begin. The athletic fee for eligible home schooled students is $350 per athlete, per sport, and must be paid to the front office prior to the first practice.
Uniforms are supplied to team members. Uniforms should be carefully maintained (please do not place them in the dryer!) and must be returned at the end of the season. Failure to return the uniform, or failure to care properly for the uniform, will result in a charge for the replacement cost of the lost/damaged uniform. The replacement fee will be billed to the family.
All athletes and parents should be familiar with the Athletic Handbook.
