Audition Information

Vocal Audition:  Each auditioning student will sing one of the provided audition pieces from memory for the audition.  If you are auditioning for a specific role, please prepare the piece associated with your desired character.  If you are auditioning for any available role or a position in the ensemble, please choose any of the pieces listed below or one of the selections listed for the ensemble.  An accompanist will be provided for you at the audition.  (2:50-5:15 PM)

Dance Audition:  Auditioning students will be assigned a dance group.  Each group will be taught a short dance and will then perform the dance for the judges.  (5:15-6:00 PM)

Call-Backs:  Only selected students will be called back after the vocal and dance auditions.  If you are not called back, it does not necessarily mean that you will not be cast in the show.  If you are called back, it does not guarantee that you will be cast in the show.  (6:00-8:00 PM)

Students in grades 5-12 are eligible to audition.  Students are required to attend the vocal and dance audition.  All students who audition are not guaranteed a role in the show.  There are a very limited number of roles available for students in grades 5 and 6.
